The Hamptons Pride
10th August – 27th August 2021
We do hope you had a chance to see some of the 12 life-sized lion sculptures whilst they were stalking this legendary beachside destination during August and early September. We are so grateful to all our contributing artists, who generously gave their time to create and paint these wonderful sculptures.
It is clear that the lions have been a huge hit with the public in The Hamptons, where the sculptures led visitors on a trail to experience ocean breezes, white sandy beaches and star-studded hangouts. Likewise the lions have been hugely popular in London and 6 other cities where 35 more sculptures have also been on display since World Lion Day.
We are very sorry if you missed seeing these stunning works of art, but the great news is that The Hamptons Pride was successfully sold at a gala auction event held at The Wolfer Estate, raising vital funds for African conservation and community programs supported by Tusk and ACCF.
You can still view and enjoy the lions via the name of their artist.
We would like to take this opportunity to recognise and thank all our corporate sponsors for their generous support of the Hamptons pride.
Tusk is enormously grateful to the African Community and Conservation Foundation (ACCF) for partnering with us in the US on this exciting initiative.
